PortfolioCube (“we,” “us,” “our”) is operated by Nawneet Kumar Panjiyar, an AMFI Registered Mutual Fund Distributor (ARN 303470). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through portfoliocube.in and our blog at portfoliocube.in/blog, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information.

This policy is separate from our investment-related disclaimers — for information on the nature of our services as an AMFI Registered Mutual Fund Distributor, please refer to our Terms of Service and the disclaimer shown on our blog posts and homepage.

Information We Collect

Contact Form. When you submit our contact form, we collect your Full Name, Mobile Number, Email Address, and Message. This information is transmitted via Web3Forms, a third-party form processing service, and delivered to our email inbox. We use it solely to respond to your inquiry.

Blog Comments. When you leave a comment on our blog, we collect the Name and Email Address you provide, along with your comment text. Your email address is not published or shared publicly. As is standard with WordPress, your IP address and browser user-agent string are also automatically collected to help identify spam. If you have a Gravatar account linked to your email, your Gravatar profile picture may display next to your comment.

Mailing List and Updates. If you subscribe to our updates, or agree to receive them when you download a PDF report or CSV file from our tools, we collect your Name and Email Address and add you to our mailing list. We use the mailing list to send PortfolioCube updates by email: new tools, articles, market updates and mutual fund related information. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email.

PDF Reports and CSV Downloads. Our tools and calculators let you download results as a PDF report or a CSV file. Before a download (or, on the Risk Profiling tool, before you start the assessment), we ask for your Name and Email Address and for your agreement, which you give by ticking a single checkbox: “I agree to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and to receive PortfolioCube updates by email — new tools, articles, market updates and mutual fund related information. I can unsubscribe at any time.” We use these details to (a) personalise the PDF report and email a copy to you, (b) send ourselves a short notification summarising the download together with a record of your agreement, (c) keep a compliance record of those who have accepted our policies, and (d) add you to our mailing list. A CSV download is not emailed to you.

The PDF report is created in your browser. If you ask for a copy by email, the report is sent to our server solely to be attached to that email and is deleted immediately after sending; we do not keep a copy of it. Notifications are delivered via Web3Forms, and report emails are sent through our hosting provider.

Because the single checkbox covers the Privacy Policy, the Terms of Service and updates by email, it must be ticked to download a report. You may unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time using the link in every email, or by writing to us, and we will stop sending you updates. Unsubscribing does not affect any report you have already received.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site — including pages viewed, time spent, and general traffic sources. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information; you can learn more about how Google handles this data at policies.google.com/privacy.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Respond to inquiries submitted through our contact form
Personalise and email the PDF reports you download, and keep a record of your agreement to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service
Publish and moderate blog comments
Send PortfolioCube updates (new tools, articles, market updates and mutual fund related information) to subscribers and to those who agreed to receive them when downloading a report
Understand site usage to improve our content and services
Comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations as an AMFI-registered distributor

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following third-party services, each of which processes data under their own privacy policies:

Web3Forms — processes contact form submissions and report-download notifications
Google Analytics — processes anonymized site usage data
MailPoet — processes mailing list subscriber information
Hostinger — our web hosting provider, which processes data as part of standard server operations and sends report emails on our behalf

Cookies

Our site uses cookies primarily through Google Analytics to understand visitor behavior. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect certain site functionality. We also use your browser’s local storage to remember display preferences, such as light or dark theme; this stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Data Retention

We retain contact form submissions and comment data for as long as necessary to respond to inquiries or maintain blog functionality. Records of report downloads (name, email address and record of agreement) are retained for up to 24 months from the date of download, or longer where required by law. Mailing list subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information held by us by contacting us using the details below. We will respond to reasonable requests in accordance with applicable law. You may withdraw your consent at any time, including by unsubscribing from our mailing list using the link in any email or by writing to us. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.

Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
